Either/Orchestra comes to Oakland and meets Mulatu Astatke who is credited as being the founder of Ethio-Jazz. Yes, my introduction to this sound is from seeing Broken Flowers, the Bill Murray movie. And I have been into it ever since. E/O is a ten piece band based in Cambridge Massachusetts.
