F*ck Yeah Fest IV

Music fests are cool. Especially if you actually get in through the gate rather than peering through fences. Like my friend Ben and I did at the Sunset Junction music fest in LA last weekend. The key is to bring cash. Like everything else in LA, atm machines are sparse, not what I'm used to in SF. Here's another music fest. Posting this a bit late but would have loved to check this out if I was still down south. This year the fest will take place on August 25th & August 26th at 5 different venues that are all walking distance from one another in Echo Park. The venues are the EchoPlex, the Echo, the Rec Center, Taix + one more location. For $13 one can get a wristband that gets them access into all the locations. Imagine a huge art crawl with 1,000+ people..... The fest is all ages and starts at 5:00pm and goes till 12:00am each night. Between the venues are a number of art galleries and a comedy show takes place each night of the fest.....
