RETTOCAMME at the Jonathan Shorr Gallery
RETTOCAMME presents Peripeteia, a dance installation for the window spaces of the Jonathan Shorr Gallery on Friday, June 29, 2007 at 7, 8 and 9 p.m.. The Jonathan Shorr Gallery is located at 109 Crosby Street between Prince and Houston. Admission is free.
Four dancers inhabit the windows of this duplex gallery in Soho with choreography by Emma Cotter. The confined spaces and transient audience externally shape two simultaneous duets as the dancers work within the rules of a structured improvisation. Amanda Miller brings her hair and make-up concepts to the collaboration and Doug Singer of the brothers
