From blasthaus: Axsel Schaufler better known as Superpitcher, the inheritor of the Westbam lineage of post-punk techno has been making seismic shifts into the dance music scene since his 2000 emergence on one of Kompakt's first compilations. At a time when the techno and sensuous seemed incongruous,, Michael Mayer's minimalist label found its emotional resuscitation in Superpitcher's glitchy yet layered, impulsive yet textured production work.
