Darn, yet another event I will probably miss unless the play gets held over...
But, you should go see it. Word for Word, is one of my favorite theater groups in SF. They specialize in turning short stories into onstage acted dramas, acted out Word for Word. A whole troupe of actors plays it out, taking it in turns to narrate or play parts. It can be downright brilliant at times.
This particular piece sounds like fun too, a classic Noir tale. "In the sinister gin-soaked world of Manhattan
