We have bought a week at this Lodge for a Russian River Vacation. We are splitting the costs of the place pro rata based on the number of the 5 rooms you use and days of use. The total lodge charge is: Nightly $500 - Weekly $3,000 - Cleaning fee $180** We will charge $125/room/night. Extra cash after the event will be returned to you or donated to SDMT.  Update - there is still room from Jun 30 leaving July 3rd.

More info about the place: Sundancing River Lodge is a beautiful restored craftsman style river view home originally built in 1932. It has five bedrooms and two baths in a spectacular sunny river front setting. Beautifully furnished, the house includes a formal dining room, living room with stone fireplace (wood stove insert), and a family room. The covered deck sports an array of stylish patio furniture, along with a gas barbecue, looking out to the river. The master bedroom has a king bed and there are three bedrooms with queen beds; the fifth bedroom has a set of bunk beds. Four of the bedrooms, the living room, family room, and kitchen all have televisions with cable reception. The bedrooms have good separation from one another. There is an office setup with a computer, high-speed Internet access, printer, and fax. This is not a separate phone line and an 800 number is required for access. Descending through lovely landscaped flower beds, the staircase ends at a river dock, providing good river access into deep water. There are a variety of boats: kayaks, canoes, and a dinghy. To the side of the house, there is a gazebo with hot tub. This is a tranquil, quiet location, but it is walking distance to downtown Monte Rio, with its restaurants, bars, public beach, and move theater. **Fourth of July Fireworks**: People come from miles around to join the locals in celebrating our great nation's birthday. You haven't really seen fireworks until you've seen them this close! Liquid lights for sale; also beer and other refreshments. It's a good idea to bring beachmats or low beach chairs & jackets and/or blankets. No participatory fireworks allowed (not even sparklers).

* **Monte Rio Water Carnival**: The same day as the fireworks, this wacky wet family event that includes such evening treats as a torch-lit canoe parade and a projection of the statue of liberty onto a 60-ft waterfall, and daytime fun such as canoe races, games, and great food.
